Summary

Join our dynamic team in Peoria, IL, where you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing industrial assets to enhance productivity and quality of work. This position offers a unique opportunity to travel extensively while contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities

  • Extensive travel required (Local, National, International).
  • Ensure all assets are properly identified, labeled, maintained, and utilized.
  • Implement asset management software and tools for efficient tracking and reporting.
  • Develop and oversee maintenance schedules for industrial equipment, ensuring timely repairs and upkeep.
  • Monitor asset performance and reliability, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Identify and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) for assets.
  • Assist in budgeting for asset procurement, maintenance, and replacement.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses for new asset acquisitions.
  • Ensure all industrial assets comply with relevant safety and regulatory standards.
  • Implement safety protocols and training related to asset usage.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and productivity of assets, including reviewing existing preventative maintenance plans.
  • Evaluate and recommend innovative technologies or upgrades to enhance asset performance.
  • Manage relationships with equipment vendors and service providers.
  • Collect and analyze data on asset performance and utilization to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Develop, update, and provide training to staff on the proper use and maintenance of industrial assets and/or CMMS or EAM application.
  • Monitor and oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, which may also include shutdown activities.
  • Promote and implement energy-efficient technologies and sustainable asset management practices.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs), & Competencies

Essential KSAs:
  • Associate Degree required in a technical field with 1-3 years of industrial asset experience and/or 5 - 10 years as a machine repair technician, or equivalent combination of both.
  • Familiarity with industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Electrical/mechanical aptitude.
  • Proficiency with computers, maintenance systems, and applications including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive, professional relationships.
Desirable KSAs:
  • Desire to develop leadership attributes.
  • Experience in job plan development, job scheduling, and work execution.
  • Project management and capital project experience preferred.
  • CMRP certification.
  • Green Belt certification.
  • STS certification.
