Job Description:

As a Business Process Reengineering Specialist, you will be responsible for gathering and documenting clear, testable business requirements and analyzing current and future-state processes to support an upcoming IT project. This role involves creating content and reference materials for business analysts, QA roles, and SMEs to ensure alignment between business and technical teams. You will also provide training and coaching on tools and processes, including Azure DevOps, and facilitate requirement gathering sessions to maintain project scope and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and document business requirements and ensure clarity for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Analyze existing and future-state business processes, data, and systems to guide requirements gathering.
• Facilitate requirement gathering meetings and maintain project backlog during Agile projects.
• Collaborate with product owners to prioritize work and manage Azure DevOps artifacts (epics, features, user stories).
• Provide training, coaching, and shadowing for BA/QA roles and SMEs using existing templates and processes.
• Create and tailor content for standards, policies, and procedures to meet business needs.
• Ensure SEM deliverables are completed, reviewed, and approved in alignment with project processes.
• Communicate effectively with UI/UX architects, developers, QA testers, and other team members to ensure understanding of requirements and functionality.
• Support decision-making for Build vs. Buy options and assess impacts of scope changes.
• Promote effective communication and collaboration across business and technical teams.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical study.
• 5+ years of experience in business analysis and process reengineering.
• 5+ years of training/teaching experience in IT or business process environments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps and ability to create epics/features for projects.
• Experience with as-is/to-be process documentation and content creation.
• Understanding of BA, QA, and DEV roles and responsibilities.
• Proficiency with tools such as Figma and Visio for process visualization.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
