Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary for Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast, Boomtown Casino Biloxi, and Sanford Orlando Kennel Club.

  • Responsible for proactively sourcing top talent for all hourly job openings by using proactive, competitive, innovative, and cost-effective means of generating high quality hires.
  • Responsible for assisting with the attraction and retention strategies and processes for hourly job openings.
  • Utilizes sourcing tools to their fullest potentials to expand talent pipelines for open jobs and future needs. This includes, but is not limited to, social media resources, radio advertisement, text campaigns, and virtual and in-person hiring events within approved guidelines.
  • Meets established KPI (key performance indicators), SLAs (service level agreements), and goals assigned.
  • Proactively partners with local recruitment agencies and community programs to address key staffing needs, included but not limited to career centers, educational institutes, and governmental agencies within established guidelines.
  • Responsible for ensuring the recruitment life-cycle is followed according to compliance with current policies and procedures in the applicant tracking system. This includes but is not limited to ensuring replacement requisitions are approved and posted, ensuring applicants have completing applications, applicable electronic forms are sent and signed, sending offer letters, sending onboarding, and ensuring it is complete, and properly closing out requisitions and/or placing them on hold. Gains approval for no replacement new requisitions prior to posting.
  • Prepares and sends weekly talent acquisition reports to team. Makes suggestions for improvements to internal recruitment efforts as needed to maximize quality hires for hourly positions.
  • Sources, screens, and interviews qualified candidates to fill existing and future hourly job openings. This process includes, but is not limited, to, reviewing resumes and applications to ensure job qualifications are met, and managing interview schedules for HR and hiring managers.
  • Attends career fairs, community events, and other programs to promote job openings and build positive partnerships.
  • Selects candidates for hiring manager consideration. Schedules interview process and ensures candidate's workflow is streamlined according to assigned timeline.
  • Creates and extends job offers as approved. Escalates issues and any salary negotiation offers to Human Resources leadership for approval.
  • Responsible for providing a positive candidate experience for all internal and external candidates. Ensures candidates receive applicable communication regarding their application.
  • Responsible for the onboarding process of hourly hires. This includes process, but is not limited to, coordinating drug screen, ensuring completion of iForms, sending to background, monitoring completion of onboarding process, and ensuring background results align with Company and jurisdictional guidelines. Escalates background and reviews to Human Resources leadership.
  • Assists with uploading and processing of new hires and rehires into HRIS system as needed.
  • Assists with offering, scheduling interviews, and onboarding of salaried new hires as needed.
  • Performs Human Resources Coordinator duties as needed. This includes but is not limited to, preparing and processing gaming license paperwork, attending team member engagement events, facilitating orientation and training, resetting system passwords, assisting Team Members with questions.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Associate degree (A.A.) in Human Resources or related field; or one year experience in Human Resources with emphasis in Talent Acquisition; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have excellent project and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Must have technical proficiency and knowledge in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, and Outlook). and applicant tracking systems. Experience with iCIMS and UKG preferred.
  • Must have technical knowledge in building sourcing strategies using a variety of means including cold calling, leveraging competitive resources, networking, internet, web sites, and social networking.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Ability to be proactive when working on tasks.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities in a demanding work environment.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to drive toward results.
  • Must be able to work high volume days, nights, holidays, and weekends, as needed.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job will not have supervisory responsibilities.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

Must successfully complete applicable responsible alcohol training.

Must possess a valid driver's license and have acceptable driving history as determined by Penn Entertainment's auto insurance carrier.
