divh2Sheet Metal Welder/h2pSpecific responsibilities include:/pulliWelding of ductwork of all sizes./liliFabricating rack brackets, supports, and junction boxes./liliPerforming miscellaneous repairs to equipment, trailers, job shacks, and other company-owned items, equipment, and vehicles./li/ulpPurpose and essential duties: The Sheet Metal Welder will function in a specialty capacity welding small gauge metal. When welding is not needed there must be a willingness to work alongside our team of Sheetmetal Mechanics. Specific responsibilities include:/pulliExperience with MIG and Flux Core welding/liliExperience with black iron and galvanized steel/liliWeld on small gauge Aluminum or Stainless Steel/liliFamiliarity with welding tools and procedures/liliMUST know to read engineering blueprints and schematics/liliAbility to handle physical workload/liliWillingness to work as a Sheetmetal Mechanic when welding is not needed/li/ulpRequired education, experience and qualifications:/pulliPrevious experience in MIG TIG process, welding Aluminum and Stainless Steel/liliMinimum of six months experience in HVAC sheet metal duct installation on commercial and/or residential projects/liliMust have own Sheet Metal hand tools (company supplies power tools)/liliMust be able and willing to follow job-site instructions./liliLift heavy materials and not be afraid of heights./liliMust be able to qualify to all company welding procedures./liliMust be able to qualify future welding procedures./liliMust be proficient in SMAW, GMAW, TGAW (others are a plus)./liliKnowledge of nondestructive testing methods and equipment: visual, remote visual, leak, ASTM certification desired./li/ulpPreferred education, experience and qualifications:/pulliSheet metal Ductwork /or Mechanical experience is a plus/liliOSHA 10 or 30 hour certification preferred/li/ulpPhysical/work environment requirements:/pulliMust be able to lift up to 51 lbs./liliRepetitive use of arms, legs, hands, and fingers./liliNot afraid of heights./li/ulpPay range: USD $18.00 - USD $21.00 /Hr./ppWe are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Women, Protected Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities, and participates in the E-Verify program.
