Position Summary:
The Sweet Shack Server is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality, thoughtfully made food and beverages in a fast-paced guest environment. This role focuses on delivering an elevated dining experience-fresh ingredients, proper presentation, and friendly, attentive service-while maintaining strict food safety and cleanliness standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve freshly made menu items following established recipes and quality standards
• Deliver excellent guest service by engaging with guests in a warm, professional, and knowledgeable manner
• Maintain high standards of food presentation, portioning, and taste
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines at all times
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and team members to ensure smooth service flow
• Assist with opening, closing, and restocking duties as assigned
Food Quality Expectations:
• Attention to detail in plating, wrapping, and overall guest experience
• Pride in serving food you'd be happy to eat yourself
Qualifications:
• Must be 21
• Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred
• Food handler certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to cleanliness, quality, and guest satisfaction
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working around hot equipment and food preparation areas
