Shipping & Receiving Associates

Hire Up Staffing is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associates to join a fast-paced production and logistics environment. This role is essential to ensuring accurate tracking of materials moving in and out of the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter weight data into internal tracking systems
• Track materials entering and exiting the facility (weigh in/weigh out)
• Verify outgoing product quantities and documentation
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety standards
• Prepare daily production reports using Excel
• Monitor variances between incoming and outgoing materials
• Review and audit Bills of Lading as needed
• Communicate discrepancies or issues to supervisors
• Identify and report equipment or scale issues
• Verify materials are assigned to the correct customer before processing
• Communicate production delays to leadership
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform basic math
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to follow procedures and work instructions
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to work in an industrial environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
