LOCATION: Remote (Strong preference for East Coast / Atlantic Time)
DURATION: 6 months
PAY RANGE: $30 - $33/hr.

Job Summary:
As a Clinical Integration Specialist within the Medical Affairs Clinical Communication & Integration team, you will:
  • Ensure the clinical accuracy of marketing and internal materials
  • Streamline knowledge management processes
  • Support integration of clinical content across the organization

Job Description:
The company is a global medical device manufacturer and software-as-a-service provider in the sleep health and respiratory care space.
The Medical Affairs department is responsible for clinical research, scientific communication, and clinical advocacy. It ensures that the company's products are safe and effective, and communicates their benefits to policymakers, healthcare providers, clinicians, and patients to ensure optimal access to care.

The Clinical Integration function sits in the Clinical Communication & Integration team within Medical Affairs. Its mission is to integrate and align global clinical content across Medical Affairs functions and the wider organization, ensuring consistent access to high-quality knowledge assets for both Medical Affairs and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage Medical Affairs review workflows for marketing and internal materials, with a focus on clinical accuracy
  • Support process management of material review needs for both external and internal materials
  • Support the build of systems and processes to enable Clinical Integration team growth
  • Understand products and services for clinical application to conduct literature searches as applicable
  • Update and organize knowledge management training materials for users
  • Proactively identify areas of efficiency and/or productivity improvement for knowledge management services
  • Provide regular progress updates to direct manager(s), with opportunities to present project updates to broader Medical Affairs teams
  • Manage central repository of content created by Medical Affairs personnel (e.g., Claims repository and SharePoint)
  • Support communication and adoption of Medical Knowledge platforms and updates across the Medical Affairs organization
  • Regularly work with Medical Content and other Medical Affairs team members to gather SME insights and improve Knowledge Management systems and processes; update manager(s) for continuous improvement goals
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum: Master's degree in science or clinical field
  • Strong clinical/academic background required; medical writing experience a plus
  • Industry experience not required, but exposure to scientific evidence appraisal beneficial
  • Experience working with published clinical research
  • Experience conducting literature searches and synthesizing clinical findings into clear summaries
  • Ability to work independently as an individual contributor
  • Proven ability to drive projects to completion while collaborating with global teams across multiple time zones
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Strong interest in technology-enabled solutions, including GenAI platforms, to support process and departmental improvements
