Role Description

The Washington Law Firm, PLLC is seeking a full-time Legal Administrative Assistant for an on-site position located in Southaven, MS. The Legal Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of daily legal office functions. Duties include preparing legal documents, organizing case files, handling correspondence, maintaining schedules, and ensuring proper communication between attorneys, clients, and staff.


Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Law and experience with Legal Document Preparation
  • Excellent Communication skills for handling client interactions and internal coordination
  • Proficient in Administrative Assistance and proven Organization Skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite and legal-specific tools
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures
  • Previous experience in a legal or administrative role is preferred
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus
  • A great team player who has attention to detail
  • Skilled in client intake, calendaring,

  • multi-line phone management (up to 25 calls/day), and comprehensive legal support in a small-firm environment.
