The Maritime System Division (MSD) of Leidos is seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist in the Long Beach, MS facility to provide logistics, logistics planning and support of a growing, fast-paced environment. Duties include controlling the flow of goods, services and information between the point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements as well as ensure the execution and improvement of standard logistic processes. Primary Responsibilities:Participate in team meetings to understand, influence, and support project planning and deadlines. Receive material into the warehouse. Perform inspections on incoming deliveries. Receive material into the inventory control system (ServiceNow). Receive program requests for shipments of equipment internally and externally.
