Overview

Client is seeking an experienced IT PMO Project Manager (PM Lead) to lead complex, cross-functional IT initiatives that support manufacturing and digital innovation priorities. This role is ideal for a delivery-focused servant leader who can manage multiple workstreams, guide teams through ambiguity, and drive measurable business outcomes. The PM Lead will operate within the PMO and apply Agile, hybrid, and Scrum-based delivery approaches, with a strong emphasis on implementing AI-enabled solutions in manufacturing environments. Preferred industry experience includes the solar business.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent IT initiatives and workstreams
• Drive delivery toward measurable business outcomes, not just task completion
• Balance scope, timeline, risk, quality, and dependencies across active initiatives
• Develop and maintain integrated delivery plans across multiple workstreams
• Manage RAID logs, risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies
• Coordinate across IT, engineering, manufacturing, product, and business stakeholders
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project status, risks, decisions, and escalations
• Translate technical and delivery topics into clear executive-level communication
• Facilitate status reviews, progress updates, and outcome-focused discussions
• Support Agile and hybrid teams through servant leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Remove impediments and help teams maintain delivery momentum
• Ensure project artifacts, controls, and documentation meet governance and compliance standards
• Support the implementation of AI-enabled solutions within manufacturing and industrial environments
• Promote modern delivery metrics focused on flow, predictability, and outcomes

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies

• 7+ years of experience in IT project management, program management, or PMO delivery roles
• Proven experience managing multiple parallel initiatives in complex enterprise environments
• Demonstrated success driving delivery outcomes in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
• Experience working across IT, engineering, manufacturing, and operational teams
• Direct PM experience implementing AI solutions in manufacturing environments
• Active PMI PMP certification
• Agile or Scrum certification such as CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or equivalent
• Strong experience with integrated project plans, RAID management, dependencies, and risk tracking
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Strong problem-solving ability, escalation judgment, and execution discipline
• Experience working with geographically distributed and matrixed teams
• Experience applying Agile and Scrum practices to AI, data, or advanced analytics initiatives
• Familiarity with hybrid delivery models within enterprise governance structures

• Experience in the solar business
• Experience supporting AI or digital transformation initiatives in industrial settings
• Comfort working in transformation environments where delivery practices are evolving
• Strong servant leadership mindset with a focus on team enablement and continuous improvement

Work Details

• Client: Client
• Work Arrangement: Remote
• Preferred Time Zone: Eastern or Central Time Zone preferred; all U.S. locations considered
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Travel: Occasional travel approximately 10-15% to manufacturing facilities in Phoenix, Arizona and Hemlock, Michigan
• Contract Duration: Targeted start date 4/27/2026 through end of year, with possible extension based on demand
