A&R Group is preparing to open the new Hampton Inn Gulfport in April 2026, and we are seeking friendly, professional, service-driven Front Desk / Guest Services Representatives to welcome guests and support daily hotel operations. This role is essential to creating a warm, efficient, and memorable guest experience.

Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Role Overview

The Front Desk / Guest Services Representative serves as the first point of contact for guests, handling check-ins, check-outs, reservations, guest inquiries, and overall service needs. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet, check in, and check out guests with professionalism and efficiency
  • Provide excellent customer service, answer phone calls, and respond to guest inquiries
  • Make same-day and future reservations; block rooms based on guest needs and availability
  • Pre-register group arrivals, prepare key packets, and organize arrival materials
  • Register guests, verify payment methods, and ensure accurate documentation
  • Enter credit card and ID information securely into the property management system
  • Assist other departments as needed, including Breakfast, Housekeeping, Laundry, and events
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and back office areas
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and courteously
  • Address and resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction
  • Document guest requests and communicate follow-up needs to appropriate departments
  • Prepare shift drops and verify totals in the property management system
  • Handle Lost & Found items according to policy
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest and company information
  • Communicate safety or service concerns to management in a timely manner
  • Follow all Hilton brand standards, A&R policies, and safety procedures
  • Serve as a Brand Ambassador for A&R Group's culture, mission, and values
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Previous hospitality experience preferred but not required
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Willingness to work overtime during busy periods
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform repetitive arm and hand movements
  • Professional, ethical, and reliable
  • Quick learner with a strong work ethic
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
  • Repetitive movements of shoulders, elbows, and hands
  • Ability to push, pull, and carry moderate weight
  • Use of computer systems, phones, and office equipment
  • Basic math skills required for shift balancing and transactions
