Production / Material Planning Analyst

We are partnering with a growing manufacturing organization seeking a detail-oriented Production / Material Planning Analyst to support production scheduling, material flow, and inventory optimization.

This role plays a key part in ensuring products are manufactured and delivered on time while aligning production plans with customer demand and revenue targets. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working cross-functionally to drive efficiency, this could be a great fit.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and maintain production and material plans based on demand forecasts and inventory targets
• Build short- and long-term production schedules aligned with capacity and resource availability
• Partner with procurement, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure material availability and production readiness
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory
• Analyze production data, lead times, and material usage trends to improve planning accuracy
• Maintain accurate planning parameters (lead times, safety stock, reorder points) within ERP/MRP systems
• Identify potential supply chain constraints and proactively escalate risks
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across planning, scheduling, and inventory control
• Prepare and share KPI reports (OTIF, forecast accuracy, inventory turns, etc.) with internal stakeholders

What We're Looking For:

• 2–5 years of experience in production planning, material planning, or supply chain (strong entry-level candidates with internships may also be considered)
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, NetSuite, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data tools (Power BI a plus)
• Solid understanding of inventory management and production scheduling principles
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments
