URGENT HIRING: Manufacturing Engineer – Aerospace & Defense

Job Location: Columbus, MS | $100k-$125k+ Bonus

We are actively hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to support critical aerospace & defense programs. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role supporting missile canisters and launch systems—and we need someone who can hit the ground running

If you have strong experience in machining, welding, fabrication, and production engineering, we want to speak with you ASAP.

What You'll Own (Day 1 Impact)

• Lead process development & work instructions for complex build-to-print parts
• Drive NPI (New Product Introduction) and production ramp-up
• Support machining, fabrication, welding, and assembly operations
• Develop and manage BOMs, tooling, and manufacturing layouts
• Troubleshoot shop floor issues in real time
• Implement Lean / Kaizen improvements to increase throughput and reduce waste

Must-Have Experience

• 7–12 years Manufacturing Engineering experience (Aerospace/Defense highly preferred)
• Strong background in:
• CNC Machining (mills/lathes)
• Welding & Metal Fabrication
• Complex Assembly Processes
• Proven experience with process development, BOMs, and production support
• Hands-on mindset—comfortable working directly on the shop floor
• Experience in AS9100 / high-precision manufacturing environments is a big plus
