US Department of Defense - - Responsibilities: Diagnose, troubleshoot, remove, adjust, modify, repair or replace defective components in subsystems such as ignition, emission, electronic and computer controlled systems; Repair, overhaul, and rebuild attachments and other utility systems on heavy equipment; Disassemble diesel or gasoline engines and inspect or replace parts such as injection valves, cylinder sleeves, pistons, rings, connecting rods, bearings, gaskets, and crankshafts; Repair tracks, drivers, rollers, sprockets, hoisting units and other working attachments on equipment including cranes, bulldozers, and tractors; Read and interpret parts lists, repair manuals, diagrams, and electrical schematics
