Job Description
Hire Up Staffing is seeking a Machinist in Gulfport, MS
We are looking for a skilled Machinist to join a team focused on precision, custom manufacturing. This is a job shop environment, not high-volume production, so the ideal candidate must be able to set up machines, make adjustments, and produce quality parts independently.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manual and/or CNC machines (mills, lathes)
- Machine parts from blueprints and specifications
- Inspect parts using measuring tools to ensure accuracy
- Adjust setups and troubleshoot as needed
- Deburr, finish, and prepare parts for production
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Experience with manual and/or CNC machining
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a job shop or custom environment preferred
