A company is looking for a General Adjuster/Associate General Adjuster.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, recommend, reserve, and execute the investigation, valuation, disposition, and settlement of large commercial insurance property claimsAchieve fair, equitable, and timely claim dispositions while assessing indemnity and expense exposure of assigned claimsMentor Associate General Adjusters and Property Damage Adjusters while collaborating with team members and business partnersRequired Qualifications, Training, and EducationGeneral Adjuster: 5+ years of experience as a full file Claim Adjuster for complex property losses; Associate General Adjuster: 3+ years for moderately severe claimsStrong functional knowledge of commercial claims and ability to interpret and apply insurance coverageCollege degree or equivalent experienceExperience with cost estimation, preferably using Xactimate, and proficiency in MS OfficeAvailability for nationwide catastrophe operations as necessary
