Location: California (remote or hybrid options available)

Compensation: $130,000 – $275,000 base salary + bonus

Annual Hours Expectation: 1,900

About The Role
We are seeking attorneys to join a growing Housing & Unlawful Detainer team handling landlord-tenant, habitability, and unlawful detainer matters across California. Candidates will work on complex, high-stakes litigation under the guidance of experienced trial attorneys. Flexible work arrangements, including remote options, are available.

Candidates with 2+ years of experience in habitability and unlawful detainer litigation are preferred, though attorneys at all levels are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Handle habitability and unlawful detainer matters in state and federal court

Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents

Conduct legal research and assist in case strategy development

Take and defend depositions; prepare witnesses for hearings and trials

Participate in mediations, hearings, and trial preparation

Collaborate with senior attorneys and cross-office litigation teams

Communicate with clients regarding case strategy, updates, and risk management

Qualifications

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school

Licensed and admitted to practice in California (required)

2+ years of experience in habitability/unlawful detainer litigation preferred; all experience levels encouraged

Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills

Self-starter capable of managing cases independently while collaborating with a team
