Job Details

A corporate accounting team has an immediate need for a Corporate Accountant to support core accounting operations and financial reporting. This role contributes to month-end close, financial analysis, audit support, and external reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Review vendor invoices and manage Accounts Payable entries, including ACH and wire transfer execution
• Assist with daily, monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Perform detailed financial statement variance analysis against budget
• Support quarterly budgeting and ongoing forecasting activities
• Prepare accurate journal entries, maintain the general ledger, and reconcile account balances
• Support debt-related accounting, including monitoring and processing principal and interest payments
• Assist with tenant accounts receivable review and bad debt reserve analysis
• Prepare supporting schedules for press releases and SEC filings (8-K, 10-Q, 10-K)
• Serve as a liaison to external auditors during annual audit
• Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience
• CPA designation preferred
