A company is looking for an AR Refund Specialist 2.Key ResponsibilitiesReview refund/overpayment requests from insurance payers to determine if an overpayment has occurredResolve credit balances through credit transfers, account corrections, and manual refund check requestsIdentify root causes of credit balances and collaborate with revenue cycle areas to improve efficiencyRequired QualificationsAssociate's degree in accounting, business, finance, or equivalent experience in revenue management in healthcare1-3 years' experience in a healthcare/managed care environment1 year of experience with complex refunds to insuranceKnowledge of physician reimbursement and managed care claim payment issuesAdvanced level with Excel and financial analysis related to physician reimbursement
