The Cook/ Helper is responsible for assisting in coordinating meal preparation, assisting with kitchen and cafeteria activities, and maintains a clean and safe environment. This schedule for this position will include working evenings, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities. Essential Job Duties:Keeps all equipment used in the preparation, storage, and serving of food in sanitary condition. Keeps storerooms, walk-in refrigerators, and freezer clean and orderly. Sets up dish room and dishwashing machine before each meal. Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
