Hands-on leader, the GM actively supports all positions as needed and drives continuous improvement across the restaurant. Responsibilities. The General Manager is the strategic leader of the restaurant, responsible for the direction and control of restaurant operations to ensure a positive guest experience and company profitability. This individual will direct the operation of the restaurant, attain sales and profit objectives, and maintain the highest standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation by directing and supervising managers and team members.
