Responsible for preparing and cooking items assigned from daily menu plan in accordance with established specifications and standardized recipes. Inspects equipment, spices and food products to ensure that quality standards are met. Assists the Chef d' Cuisine in the production of the daily menu or prep list.
Essential Job Functions:
• Excellent internal/external guest service;
• Cooks or prepares food assigned from daily menu plan;
• Follows recipes given consistently and with care;
• Maintains cleanliness of assigned area in accordance with health codes and regulations;
• Monitor food production, inventory levels and order stock to maintain par;
• Understanding of all job responsibilities of staff during assigned shift;
• Responsible for most areas of kitchen sanitation, safety and OSHA compliance;
• Other reasonable duties as assigned.
