Water Repair & Maintenance Crew Leader

H 2 O Innovation provides public works management services & operations assistance for water & wastewater treatment plants to municipalities, government organizations, and businesses across North America.

The Water Repair & Maintenance Crew Leader will hold a permanent and full-time position and will work at the Gulfport, Mississippi facility operated by H 2 O Innovation. The main responsibilities of the candidate will be to install and repair underground water and sewer pipes through the city's water and sewer systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations according to H 2 O 's performance standards as well as the health and safety protocols.
• Participate in the installation and repair of underground water and sewer lines.
• Operate equipment such as a mini excavator, backhoe and front-end loader.
• Supervise a two-to-three-member crew.

The Skills We Are Looking For

• High school diploma/GED.
• At least one year of experience operating heavy equipment (mini excavator, backhoe & front-end loader).
• Valid driver's license.
• Plumbing experience is helpful.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public, team members and supervisors.
• Ability to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.
• The successful candidate will have to pass a background check which includes criminal background & motor vehicle report checks, as well as drug & alcohol screenings.
