This position is responsible for overseeing capital projects (up to $40 million), including cost review, standardized project setup, and the design and construction of new materials facilities. It also leads teams in planning and building plant capital projects within the Materials Segment and supports the Operational Excellence initiative. Essential Job Accountabilities. Establish consistent cost estimating, project scheduling, and construction practices across the Materials Segment to ensure timely and budget-compliant capital project delivery. Review significant capital project cost estimates and create Self Constructed Asset (SCA) projects for approved estimates to ensure accurate forecasting, scheduling, and cost tracking. Manage project estimates, resources, schedules, work plans, and overall construction management for Operational Excellence team-led projects to ensure budget compliance and timely completion, while monitoring progress and managing vendor contracts.
