Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Executive Sous Chef at our Oxford, MS location. The Executive Sous Chef will assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, including preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, supervising kitchen staff, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with culinary and food safety standards. They will collaborate with the working on site owners to develop new dishes and menus as they lead the kitchen team in maintaining a productive and professional kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques
• Experience with menu planning, recipe development, and cost control
• Proficiency in kitchen operations, including inventory management and staff supervision
• Understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen sanitation practices
• Excellent leadership, teamwork, and communication abilities
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
• Experience in catering or event-based culinary services is a plus
