Job Title: Sales Development Manager

They are currently hiring nationwide for a Sales Development Representative.
Role overview:
The Sales Development Manager will focus exclusively on new business development within one of the following divisions: Infectious Disease, Point of Care, or Cardio Metabolic Disease. This is a hunter-style sales role responsible for identifying, targeting, and converting new accounts within hospital systems and clinical settings.
The role requires the ability to build relationships with laboratory, emergency department, clinic, physician office lab, and urgent care stakeholders. The focus is on opening new accounts, developing territory strategy, and driving full-cycle sales from lead generation through close.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identify, target, and develop new accounts
- Drive full-cycle sales from prospecting and cold outreach through contract close
- Develop and execute territory plans and pipeline strategies to achieve new business targets
- Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Medical Affairs, Finance, Contracts, and Technical Service
- Support distributor partners through training, sales support, and field engagement
- Travel 50%, remote when not traveling
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Highly driven, competitive, and self-motivated with a strong desire to win and consistently exceed targets
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Ability to analyze data and apply insights to territory planning and forecasting
- Willingness to travel within territory (~50%)
Compensation & Benefits:
- Total Compensation: $140k-$170k
- Base Pay: $100k-$105k
- On-Target Earnings: $170k + uncapped commissions (unlimited)
