Job Description Job Description Job Description:Promise Point Care is seeking an experienced and motivated Direct Care Supervisor to lead and support our Direct Care Staff within our Youth Placement Center. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, structured, and therapeutic care for youth while overseeing daily staff operations.The ideal candidate is a strong leader who is passionate about youth development, team management, and maintaining high standards of care.Responsibilities:Supervise, coach, and support Direct Care Staff during assigned shiftsEnsure proper staff-to-youth ratios are maintained at all timesMonitor daily operations and ensure compliance with policies and proceduresProvide guidance in crisis situations and behavioral interventionsReview and approve documentation (incident reports, shift notes, logs)Assist with staff scheduling, call-offs, and shift coverageTrain and onboard new Direct Care StaffMaintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for youthCommunicate effectively with leadership regarding program needsQualifications:Valid driver's license (required)CPR Certification (required or willing to obtain)Minimum 2 years of experience working with youth or in residential carePrevious supervisory or leadership experience preferredStrong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skillsAbility to work in high-stress situations and make sound decisionsMust pass background check and drug screeningSchedule:Full-time positionDay, Evening, or Overnight supervisory shiftsWeekends and holidays may be required
