Our client is a full-service General Contractor/Construction Manager that has been in business for over 30 years. This company, which is experiencing consistent growth, is renowned in the Southeast market with regards to their bread-and-butter project types - Hospitality and Large Commercial. Here, team members are valued beyond the projects, which contributes to the strong company culture. Overall they are a mid-sized firm but have the structure and ability to offer completely competitive salary and additional benefits. They are headquartered in Mississippi, however have operations across the Southeast and VA. This role allows the right candidate to operate on a traveling basis with company-paid trips home monthly OR have their relocation expenses covered. The initial project is a $300M casino in VA.

Establishing and implementing safety programs, policies, and site standards
Acting as the primary safety authority for site teams, subcontractors, and leadership
Partnering directly with senior leadership to shape future safety processes
Positioning the safety function for scale across future projects
Bachelor's degree in Construction Science, Occupational Safety, or related field of study
7+ years in a Commercial or Hospitality Construction Safety role
OSHA 30 certification is required
Additional certifications and training helpful
