Floor Technician / Floor Care Specialist- Overnight Shift

Pascagoula, MS Overnight Shift: 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM Weekly Pay

We are currently seeking an experienced Overnight Floor Technician / Floor Care Specialist for a facility in Pascagoula. This position is ideal for someonewith commercial floor care experience who takes pride in maintaining clean, polished, and safe environments.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing advanced floor care services throughout the facility while following strict safety and infection control standards. Your work will directly support a clean and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform floor maintenance including stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing, scrubbing, and carpet care
• Operate floor care equipment such as high-speed buffers, extractors, wet/dry vacuums, and sweepers
• Clean and maintain equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Complete floor care logs, maintenance records, and required documentation
• Follow all infection prevention, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Properly collect and dispose of waste according to facility guidelines
• Wear and utilize appropriate PPE when required
• Work independently and efficiently to complete assigned tasks
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in accordance with standards

Qualifications

• Previous commercial floor care experience preferred
• Experience operating industrial floor care equipment required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Basic computer or mobile device skills for documentation and communication
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Must successfully pass a federal fingerprint background check
• Must successfully pass a 10-panel drug screen
