Marine Service Technician

Hire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced Marine Service Technician to join our client's growing team in Pearl, MS. This position is ideal for mechanically inclined professionals with strong electrical troubleshooting experience who enjoy travel and hands-on work in diverse environments. This role requires extensive travel, with most assignments located throughout the United States and some international opportunities. Candidates with a valid passport are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain marine electrical and mechanical systems.
• Perform wire repairs, wiring installations, and wire harness assembly as needed.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance on marine equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Support installation and commissioning activities at customer locations.
• Operate tools, equipment, and testing devices safely and effectively.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately and promptly.
• Work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure quality service and timely project completion.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with electrical and mechanical systems in manufacturing, automotive, marine, renewable energy, or similar industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of electrical troubleshooting and repair techniques.
• Experience with wire repairs, wire harness installation, assembly support, machine operation, and quality inspections preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing job site conditions.
• Must be willing and able to travel extensively.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Valid passport is a plus.
