Quality CheckerLocation: Pass Christian, MsTime Type: Full TimeResponsibilitiesUse documentation to ensure all products and orders are received, handled, and shipped correctly following SOP and Tray Appearance Guidelines.Verify product and order quality, report damages or discrepancies, stack, package, shrink wrap, and label goods.Conduct quality inspections of new production receipts, inbound shipments, and pre-load outbound shipments.Confirm RF functions are used to load pallets and ensure all pallets are loaded with no items left behind.Return dock loading documentation to shipping clerk and notify supervisor of any discrepancies between dock quantities and documentation.Perform post-receipt validations against established quality criteria.Assist in updating visual aids, process instructions, quality procedures, corrective and preventive actions, and client documentation.Review and validate all controlled documentation displayed throughout the plant against QIS.Participate in Continuous Improvement Projects and support other areas as required.Maintain clean and organized conditions (5S+) of workstations and/or areas.Continuously work on improving operations communication.Safety, Housekeeping, and ComplianceExecute all safety protocols and perform tasks in a manner that promotes safety.Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility and assist in securing the warehouse.Comply with all SOPs, corporate and site-specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS Standards.Equipment OperationOperate equipment such as LP & electric forklifts (sit-down or stand-up), swing reach truck, scrubber.Report equipment problems and maintain equipment in safe and efficient condition.MaintenanceAssist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.Other Duties (Site Specific)Performs other duties as assigned.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNoneMinimum Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.1 year of MHE experience.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional DesignationsNoneSkills, Knowledge and AbilitiesComputer Skills: Basic Microsoft Office, email, RF scanners, WMS functions.Language Skills: English (reading, writing, verbal).Mathematical Skills: Basic to intermediate level for verifying quantities, counting inventory, and other related duties.Other: Strong attention to detail, ability to work with minimal supervision, adaptability to change, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.Preferred QualificationsAt least 6 months experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.Current or prior MHE certification.Physical DemandsTasks include bending, climbing, crawling, handling/fingering, sitting, standing, walking, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, and reaching. Approximately 33% to 66% of time involves frequent physical effort, with over 66% of time in constant or frequently required actions. Tasks may require lifting up to 55 pounds.Work EnvironmentEmployees are frequently exposed to varying temperatures, moderate dust or airborne particles, and low to moderate noise levels.
