Air Reserve Technician Officer
The primary purpose of this position is to provide overall management for program integration/execution requirements for an operational flying aeromedical evacuation squadron (AES).
Provides administrative oversight of operational unit activities; Provides squadron deployment/contingency execution oversight for mission accomplishment, including AEF tasking requirements and contingency capability sourcing in support of defense support to civil authorities.
Establishes and executes mission, organizational, budget/fiscal, staffing, and flying requirements to prescribed mission capability.
Provides oversight for assigned and issued organization equipment; Performs supervisory personnel management responsibilities for a small workforce.
Oversees unit aeromedical training programs to ensure assigned personnel are adequately trained to perform operational AE mission.
Represents the aeromedical evacuation operations function to external agencies to include wing, NAF, and HQ functional representatives, and establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships to further organizational goals.
