Special Education Programs Division Support
Open until filled. This position supports the Wyoming Department of Education's Special Education Programs division's requirements of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act 2004 (IDEA 2004) in providing monitoring, technical assistance (TA) and professional development (PD) to district staff through the managing, planning, coordination, and evaluation of improvement activities and division initiatives which facilitate the improved academic and functional outcomes for students with disabilities.

Preference may be given to individuals with education, special education, and/or education leadership experiences. Knowledge of data systems, assessment, special education, and professional development is also preferred.
Knowledge:
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree (typically in Education) Experience: 1-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Education or Instruction) with acquired knowledge at an Education Program Specialist level. OR Education & Experience Substitution: 4-6 years of progressive work experience (typically in Education or Instruction) with acquired knowledge at an Education Program Specialist level.
