The Administrative Assistant performs various activities related to the maintenance of associate and office records for company business.
• Answers telephone takes inquiries or messages using good telephone technique. • Greets and assists everyone who comes into the office in a professional and courteous manner. • Data entry using WellSky System of all clients and associates. • Schedules and coordinates day-to-day activities of caregivers and clients. • Verifies time, telephony records and mileage for payroll processing. • Handles incoming/outgoing mail. • Prepares new hire packets, new client homecare record books, and client information packets. • Assists with recruiting, interviewing, orientations, and in-services. • Assists with Long Term Care billing. • Assist with retrieving expired documentation. • Assist with Employee Recognition and Training Program. • Performs On-Call duties as needed. • Serve as a liaison between associates and office staff. • Keeps office supply inventory and orders supplies as needed.

• High School graduate or equivalent with two years of business experience. • Two years of healthcare experience. • Basic office and computer skills, and organizational abilities. • Excellent telephone skills, and interpersonal relations abilities. • Knowledge of common medical terminology. • Able to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment. • Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job. • Be available as required for on-call duty outside of normal office hours.
