Assistant Dispatcher – Automotive ServiceSchedule:Full-Time, including a Saturday rotationAbout the RoleWe are looking for a high-energy Assistant Dispatcher to join our service team. In this role, you will help serve as the air traffic controller for our service bay—routing jobs efficiently, keeping service advisors in the loop, and keeping daily operations moving smoothly. If you know shop operations and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesWorkload Dispatch: Distribute repair orders to technicians based on skill level and shop capacity to support maximum billable hours and steady workflow.Advisor Communication: Partner closely with Service Advisors, providing accurate, real-time updates on vehicle progress, delays, and completion times.Shop Flow Management: Monitor open jobs, track carryovers, and assist in maintaining strong stall turnover throughout the day.Quality & Safety Assurance: Ensure work moves safely through the shop and meets dealership standards.QualificationsPrior experience in an automotive shop environment (as a tech, advisor, or service assistant).Basic to intermediate understanding of automotive repair and shop flow.Clear, proactive communication and strong problem-solving skills under pressure.Ability to multitask and organize repair orders effectively.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.BenefitsMedical, Dental & Vision Insurance401(k)Supplemental InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO)Ongoing training and career development#J-18808-Ljbffr
