Role Description This part-time Warehouse Associate role is an on-site position located at the Walmart Distribution Center in Olive Branch, MS. The associate is responsible for receiving, unloading, and moving freight within the warehouse, ensuring products are handled safely and accurately. Day-to-day tasks include packing and preparing orders, organizing and stacking pallets, and using warehouse equipment to stage and store goods. The role also involves following safety procedures, maintaining a clean and orderly work area, and meeting productivity and quality standards as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform Shipping & Receiving tasks, including checking, recording, and organizing incoming and outgoing freight.
• Proficiency in Packing and preparing orders for shipment with attention to accuracy and product protection.
• Experience with Unloading trucks and handling materials in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment.
• Skill in Forklift Operation and Pallet Jack use, with adherence to safety and equipment guidelines (certification or willingness to obtain is beneficial).
• Capability to lift and move packages and materials repeatedly, and to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
• Basic reading, math, and computer or scanner skills to follow work instructions and track inventory.
• Strong reliability, teamwork, and communication skills; ability to follow safety policies and standard operating procedures.
• Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience is a plus; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
