About the OpportunityAs a Forklift Operator/Laborer at EMR,you'll play a key role in our daily operations at our Gulfport, MS site. In this role, you will be a ssisting customers, transferring material to the proper location, preparing it for shipment and loading the outbound shipment. This career requires experience of providing a high level of customer service a nd excellent attention to safety.Key ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload scrap metal materials, bales, bins, boxes, crates, etc. onto and from customer trailers, truck beds, bins, and other cargo as neededIdentify, sort, label, moveand transfer metal materialsEnsure a clean and orderly workplace; clean and prepare sites by removing debris and possible hazardsAdhere to, evaluateand maintainproper service logs and maintenance requirementsFollow production plans and instructions from supervisors or more experienced workersAdhere to operatingand health and safety protocolsQualificationsAbility to work independently while multitaskingAbility to operate equipment safelyAbility to lift over 50 poundsExcellent customer service skillsCompensation and BenefitsFull-time, year-round, Typical schedule is Monday - Friday and a half day on SaturdayPTO and 8 paid company holidaysMedical and dental insuranceEmployer paid vision insuranceEmployer paid life insuranceHSA and FSA with employer contribution401(k) with company match#J-18808-Ljbffr
