Inventory Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Full time Inventory Specialist is responsible for counting medical and industrial gas cylinders at government facilities throughout the U.S. per requirements outlined in each site's associated contract. This position also includes safety management and quality control responsibilities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform physical counts of all company owned medical gas cylinders.
• Discuss audit results and any concerns with the Operations Manager and other departments to ensure concerns are addressed with facility in a timely manner.
• Represent company and meet with on-site, government personnel and the medical gas representative to conduct physical counts.
• Perform any additional Quality Control tasks as assigned by a member of company Management.
• Plane and vehicle travel required. Travel frequency will depend on individual contract schedules. Travel expenses paid for by Company. 
• Perform other duties as directed by Management.

SCHEDULE:

Due to the nature of working within contractual parameters, weekly schedules will vary based on job site location and contractually required frequency. Job schedule will fluctuate with some weeks requiring 40+ hours.

JOB EXPERIENCE and SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Problem solving capabilities
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing accurately and effectively in fast-paced environment
• Ability to effectively work without supervision
• Physical demands include walking/being on your feet for long periods of time on hard surfaces, bending, kneeling, some lifting of cylinders over 30 lbs
• Inventory management and/or auditing experience a plus
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
• Prior military experience is a plus
• Must embrace being a road warrior
