ACCOUNTING MANAGER - This position requires management & participation of double entry bookkeeping and performing the following: posting actions to journals, identifying subsidiary accounts affected, making debit and credit entries, assigning proper codes, preparing weekly payroll, administering payroll taxes and reconciling accounts receivable and accounts payable. The Accounting Manager will also reconcile computer printouts against manually maintained journals, detect/correct erroneous postings, and prepare documents to adjust accounting classifications and other data, or review lists of transactions rejected by an automated system. Clerk will provide reporting and special data projects to executive staff.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary responsibility is accurate data entry
Maintain accounting databases by entering data into the computer for Data Analysis
Perform filing and general clerical tasks
Assist in processing accounts payables and receivables
Assist in month end reporting procedures

Proficiency with Quick Books accounting software program Proficiency with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office & ability to create Excel spreadsheets Knowledge of Payroll principals and filing payroll tax requirements
