The Marketing Specialist serves an integral role in effectively communicating Global’s success stories and solutions to the Higher Education community. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for marketing tasks which includes marketing content creation, implementation and social media management. The Marketing Specialist also handles Request for Proposal (RFP) and proposal management along with email campaigns and conference logistics coordination.
Duties consist of but not limited to:
Create and maintain marketing content including brochures, company website content, social media posts, RFP content, presentations, blog posts and webinars. Draft proposals and RFP responses. Maintain content that is current with product, service and regulatory changes. Oversee delivery of email campaigns and other outbound marketing messaging. Conduct and report analysis of website, social traffic, campaign updates and competitor analysis. Maintain Salesforce activities such as campaign management etc. Coordinate conference logistics and marketing opportunities with conference organizations. Attend conferences and trade shows as needed as company spokesperson.
Minimum of 3 years of marketing or social media management experience is preferred. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Skilled in writing and editing content with an attention to detail. Experience with Salesforce, Google Analytics, LinkedIn, Twitter, other social media or web content management systems a plus. Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, marketing, communications or a related field.
