Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant will report directly to the Administrative Director. This position has become available due to company growth and is critical to our continued success. Although this is an entry level position, there is room for exponential growth within the company. This role will engage directly with our suppliers, partners, and clients via phone and in-person. The right individual will have a positive attitude, pay close attention to detail, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be enthusiastic about the company vision. This is an ideal role for someone looking to be involved in all aspects of residential construction and land development, striving to gain valuable experience in custom home construction, and learning how various roles and departments work in a multi-faceted company.

The Administrative Assistant will handle a variety of tasks including:

  • Ordering job materials from designated selections sheets
  • Corresponding with suppliers on order status, delivery check-in, etc.
  • Utilizing established templates to draft subcontractor agreements and contract addendums
  • Creating website content and social media posts



    • Achievement oriented: teachable demeanor and open to taking on challenges, even if/when mistakes come along the way
    • Adaptable: Enjoy doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction
    • Computer Skills: Proficient/Advanced experience using Microsoft Office Programs and Adobe PDF suite
    • Education: 2- or 4-year business or finance degree; 3-5 years' work experience may substitute for education
    • Flexible: Ability to manage multiple assignments while staying organized and current on tasks
    • People Oriented: Creative critical thinking and ability to engage in group projects
    • Self-starter: Display effective time management and organizational skills, a positive attitude, and initiative
    • Website/Social Media: experience in website and social media content creation/management


    • Prior work experience with legal contracts and documentation
    • Interior design trend knowledge

Additional Details

    • Job Type: Full Time, Non-exempt Employee. Candidate can expect to work 32-40 hours/week.
    • Typical Workdays: Monday-Friday
    • Typical Work Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
    • Hourly Pay: starting at $17.00 per hour (based on experience)
